Can the forklift lithium battery be overcharged?
To answer this question, we need to know what overcharging means. Overcharging is when the battery is charged beyond its maximum capacity. In a lithium battery, overcharging can lead to thermal runaway and explosion. The simplest answer is no; you can’t overcharge your forklift lithium battery.
However, it is possible if you have a defective charger or the battery has already been damaged by other means, like overheating or deep discharging. In such cases, it may be possible for you to damage your battery by trying to charge it too much. The best way to avoid this is by only getting chargers which are approved by battery supplier or equipment supplier.
