Recommended Operating Temperature For Forklift Lithium Batteries
The acceptable temperature range for Li-ion batteries is typically −20 °C to 60 °C. Both low and high temperatures outside this region can lead to performance degradation and irreversible damage, such as lithium plating and thermal runaway.
In case, your batteries will be applied in Cold Room or Frozen area, EKT technical team has proven expierience to offer you the right solution, including heat insulation, battery heating , etc….
Your caution and attention on battery temperature is the key of safety, please ensure your batteries are IEC / UL certified from recognized accredition body such as TUV, SGS, and with integrated Can-bus communication with charger.
